Instruction
I started diving at the age of 12. After many years of diving and training in the Dutch lakes I became a Diving Instructor in 1994 and Instructor Certifier a few years after that. My training with Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) started in 2001 when I travelled to the USA for a GUE cave course. Nowadays I'm an active wreck and cave diver and member of the EKPP, an European cave exploration team where I'm also responsible for film and photo documentation.
I live in the Netherlands but teach my GUE classes and photo / video workshops also on other locations worldwide. If you are interested in taking a class or workshop and the dates or locations mentioned are not convenient for you, don't hesitate to contact me at JP@GUE.com as we can often arrange dates and locations to suit your availability.

GUE Instruction & Workshops
GUE Primer (2 days)
The GUE Primer course is designed to provide divers an opportunity to advance his/her basic diving skills, thereby developing more comfort, confidence and competence in the water. It also provides an introduction to GUE training while demonstrating the techniques necessary for success in future GUE courses.
The course is a non-certification class combining lectures, land drills and in-water sessions. The GUE Primer course is focused on increasing diver proficiency through proper control of buoyancy, trim, propulsion techniques and other GUE principles.
